This was a once in a lifetime experience. Every room was so interesting and there were so many doors to find. What's more is that almost everything is for sale so if you find something you like during the tour you can buy it! Will definitely go back

Loved it! Brought 4 kids, ages 16,14,12,10. They had a blast laughing at all the wild and strange things in this place, and noticing all the little things in the nooks and crannies... Think: : "Look and Find" or "I Spy" books, and you'll have a general idea of the way this mansion is decorated! Something to see in every spot. Took us about 2 hours to make our way through the rooms.. a few were off limits due to guests staying in them. As this place is also a hotel. *We were told at the beginning that some sections may not be available to see. We found several secret doors. Note: "doors" included actual passages into other rooms/sections of the house, as well as hidden cabinets, small hidden compartments, and the like. We had to het a couple of hints, but found most on our own... about 13.Note: If you are claustrophobic, this may not be your jam! Also, since you are constantly looking for hidden doors, or things that may be a hidden doors, you may get dizzy walking through this place! Also, staff does NOT know where all the doors are, only the ones they have found themselves, or were shown by other staff members. That's the only frustrating things... no way to tell how many you may have passed up in certain rooms, or parts of the house. We're told that the owners are the only ones who know the location of all the doors.
